Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for education and Early Years settings

We have worked closely with our colleagues and your representatives to devise a simple, coordinated approach to the provision of required PPE for your settings.

The two situations where PPE maybe required are:

  • if a child becomes unwell whilst in your care
  • a child has additional needs which mean PPE is required to provide them care (ie you used PPE to deliver this care prior to the pandemic).

Information on what PPE may be required can be found using the following link:

PPE for children who become unwell whilst in your care

Prior to school holidays, each school and early year setting was issued with a supply of PPE for this situation.

When these stocks run low and if you’ve been unable to buy them from other suppliers, you can request additional items using our Emergency Support for Providers requiring PPE online form or via email at CV19PPE@warwickshire.gov.uk.

PPE for children who need personal care?

If there is a child in the school or early years setting who has additional care needs which require PPE (ie you used PPE to deliver this care prior to the pandemic) then you can request supplies of this using our Emergency Support for Providers requiring PPE online form or via email at CV19PPE@warwickshire.gov.uk and an allocations officer will discuss the needs with you in more detail.
