Pupil Premium - The performance of vulnerable pupil groups - Schools training catalogue

As part of the governance function of holding the executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, it should be a priority of governing boards to ensure that all groups of pupils are performing well in relation to both national expectations and to other pupils within the school. A particular focus of this session is on pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds who qualify for Pupil Premium funding, but it will also consider other nationally recognised pupil groups, such as those with special educational needs and disabilities.
