Course outcomes

The first of a series of three practical workshops focusing on the assessment through teaching framework to improve independent reading skills in struggling readers. In the first session, staff will gain an understanding of the reading theory and research and an understanding of why this intervention works. Discover the core instructional principles and the critical skills that are needed to become a competent, independent reader.
