Educational Psychology Recommended Approach to accelerating reading skills - Session two: Administering reading assessments  - Schools training catalogue

The second of a series of three practical workshops focusing on the assessment through teaching framework to improve independent reading skills in struggling readers. This session will look at a series of assessments that will provide you with a complete profile of the child/young person's knowledge of written English, that can be completed by any member of staff following training. This will enable the school to collate data on all children’s reading skills and will evidence progress throughout the year in each area of reading.
