Alternative Provision

On occasion, schools may need to commission off-site Alternative Provision (AP) for a short period to support a pupil’s education.

All settings in the directory have been assessed as meeting the Voluntary National Minimum Standards for Alternative Provision.

Nevertheless, schools are responsible for ensuring all placements are appropriate for the needs of each pupil, and for overseeing the placement.
