Alternative Provision in Warwickshire

The organisations listed below provide short-term alternative education placements.

Schools arranging any alternative education placements are responsible for undertaking appropriate due diligence of providers to ensure the wellbeing of pupils, including safeguarding, health and safety, and quality of education.

The precise nature of Alternative Provision will be specific to the needs of each pupil, but it is expected that all placements should:

provide a good education on a par with mainstream schools
focus on key subjects, particularly Maths and English
meet pupil’s specific needs & address any barriers to attainment
improve motivation, self-confidence, attendance and engagement
support reintegration into mainstream education, training or employment
